Bright ruby red colour with violet glints.
To the nose, it is winy, pleasantly fruity with a scent of violet, cherry, cinchona, rhubarb combined with hints of aromatic herbs and brushwood.
The flavour is ample, well-balanced, harmonious and very persistent, with sweet tannins and fresh notes which make it lively and light.

Grape harvest:

By hand in boxes, in different periods between the second and the third ten days of September.

Area of production:

First hills around Bertinoro (Forlì), on the "Tenuta Fulcera" estate. The soil is silty-clay-loam, fine-textured. Spurred-cordon training with a high density of 6,200 vine stocks per hectare with a maximal yield of 90 quintals per hectare.

Vinification:

Maceration on the skins for 100 gg with periodical pumping-over and "délestage" procedures. Alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in steel.

Ageing and refinement:

It mellows in steel vats.
